During the annual competition of the Times Foundation in the University of Khalifa, United Arab Emirates, University of Kirkuk obtained International Asia Awards 2019 as the best Asian university in supporting students, President of the University, Dr. Abbas Hassan Taqi said. Dr. Taqi added that the University is working in light of the strategic plans in order to excel and achieve the highest professional and academic standards that serve the educational process and raise the scientific levels of students. Dr. Taqi reviewed that the University was nominated with (80) recognized universities in more than (21) Asian countries. Dr. Taqi also reviewed that the nomination of the University is based on its excellence in supporting students as a real incentive to continue implementing main projects to enhance the educational process.
