College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Karbala organized its 4th Student Conference reviewed developing research projects, Dean of the College, Dr. Wifaq Al-Bazi said. Dr. Al-Bazi added that the conference, in which a number of faculty members and students participated, aimed at supporting innovation, developing the research skills of students and preparing all the scientific requirements to conduct pioneering researches that contribute in providing investment opportunities capable of raising livestock and enhancing food security. Dr. Al-Bazi continued by saying that the conference reviewed 26 scientific researches were distributed to 13 researches related to basic medical sciences and 13 researches dealing with clinical medical sciences under the supervision and follow-up of 24 faculty members who contributed in developing of scientific mechanisms to guide the research and projects axes and employ them to address scientific and research issues as innovative and effective solutions to real problems that meet the needs of the community. Dr. Al-Bazi confirmed that the college prepared all the material and human resources and equipped the classrooms and laboratories with the required furniture and equipment to expand the advanced research database as well as inaugurating advanced research laboratory and textile shredding unit in the college.
