College of Science, University of Kirkuk organized a symposium on the remote sensing.
The symposium, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, included delivering a lecture on displaying the satellite images and explaining how to determine the temperature of a particular area.
The lecture reviewed the stages of the development of remote sensing, which was based on two main factors, the stage of camera development and mechanical development with the development of films, as well as the development of sensors and related to color discrimination and development of the platform that implement sensors and their types and dimensions.
