College of Science, University of Kufa held a symposium on global climate changes and their environmental impacts on groundwater in the Samarra and Baiji areas.
The symposium, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, reviewed concept of climatic changes in term of temperature, melting of snow, changes in precipitation, drought and their enormous impacts on the biological systems.
The symposium also reviewed climate changes impacts on water and environment and its relation in predicting the high and low level of groundwater.
