College of Law, University of Misan organized a symposium on the legislations of environmental property. The symposium, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, highlighted duties of the Department of Environment Preserving through the application and legislation of laws of environment, the concept of environmental security, standards of police work and promoting the level of environmental awareness through the media. The symposium recommended preserving the Iraqi environment in general and the river environment in particular via various environmental programs and activities.
