A research team in the Middle Euphrates Technical University obtained a patent on manufacturing a device to calculate the percentage of rotation of vehicles via using cloud computing technology. The patent included designing an electric circuit that calculates the slipping of a number of vehicle rotation in real time via using a magnetic sensor that sends the data to a miniature processor that calculates the number of wheel rotations for a specified period of time and then sends the data via Wi-Fi to the cloud server. The patent reviewed that the device calculates the percentage of the slipping in high accuracy and characterized by small size with low cost and ease of access to data and storage from anywhere in the world by using any device supported Internet whether from computer or mobile phone.
