In cooperation with the Universities Baghdad and Sumer, University of Misan organized a symposium on the sustainable development of the Iraqi Marshlands and identifying the biological components of ecosystem.
The symposium included conducting survey, diagnosis and classification of birds, mammals and arthropods, as well as reviewing the most important geographic regions as nature reserves for their historical heritage.
