College of Pharmacy, Mustansiriyah University discussed a master dissertation the evaluation of transdermal nanoparticles of ondansetron hydrochloride by the postgraduate student, Mrs. Hind Abd Al-Amir Hadi.
The dissertation aimed at evaluating the transitions of ondansetron, find the most stable formula in it, and study the effect of various variables that may affect the formulation and properties of ondansetron converting compounds.
The dissertation demonstrated preparing a study of the properties of the ready-made gel and incorporating the successful transfers formula prepared into a gel formula.
The dissertation confirmed that the formulation of ondansterone as transmissible nanoparticles is a new technology for drug delivery via using gel media applied to the skin with excellent penetration of the drug-loaded vesicle through the skin layers and the release of danasterone into the blood with great bioavailability.
