Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Abd Al-Hussain Al-Moussawi said that “We extend our deepest condolences and sympathies to the noble Iraqi people and the entire Muslim Nation on the occasion of the eternal anniversary of Ashura, the commemoration of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), his family, and his companions, who exemplified the most sublime meanings of sacrifice and steadfastness in the cause of truth and justice”.

 Dr. Abd Al-Hussain Al-Moussawi added that “We draw inspiration from this great occasion and the noble values and principles embodied by the revolution of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), so that it may remain a beacon for the free and a constant call for reform and the confrontation of injustice”.
