Department of Media and Public Relations, University of Samarra organized a workshop on the content management system and publishing on colleges' websites, the Faculty Member in the Department, Mr. Farooq Shakir Mahmoud said. Mr. Mahmoud added that the workshop addressed the need to take into consideration the scientific and technical aspects in editing, covering and documenting the news and activities of the Colleges. Mr. Mahmoud added that the workshop reviewed how to develop websites to keep pace with the progress made in advanced universities and the importance of communicating news and activities of the University in a professional manner that ensures credibility and high quality in disseminating the news in terms of image and text. Mr. Mahmoud continued by saying that the workshop recommended the need to pay attention to websites and develop them to meet the modern vision of the University, as it is one of the important factors in evaluating the University and a major factor in determining the rank of each university in the world.
