A master's dissertation was discussed in the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Southern Technical University on the testing level of some minerals and tracing elements in patients with hereditary hemoglobinopathy in the Governorates of Basra and Thi-Qar by the postgraduate student, Mr. Qais Resan Lahube. The dissertation reviewed evaluating serum levels of (+, Mn, Co, Cr, Fe, Zn, P, Cu, Se, Mg, Ca,) in patients with hereditary hemoglobinopathy. The dissertation aimed at testing the concentration of the level of mineral, tracing elements such as iron, phosphorus and calcium and the antioxidant elements.
