Faculty member in the College of Pharmacology, University of Babylon, Dr. Saad Ali Ihsan Al-Araji participated in the Central Scientific Conference of 17th of Medical Botany.
The participation included a research on the chemical analysis and biological activities of the basic oil of the plant Salvia Lavandelfolia and researcher extracted the volatile aromatic oils from these plants as well as testing their biological ability to kill microbes and cancer cells as well as using them as antioxidants.
It is worth mentioning that the conference was organized by the National Center for Natural Products Research in the United States of America, University of Mississippi.
