College of Medicine, University of Wasit organized a workshop on OSCE system and its importance for students of health field, Dean of the College, Dr. Husam Majeed said.
The workshop, in which a number of deans of the medical colleges, faculty members, doctors and students participated, reviewed the practical tests of the ASCII system, which is an innovative way to evaluate clinical skills.
The workshop also reviewed that the system depends on the status of multiple stations as the student passes on each station to perform a specific test without interference of examiner whose role is to monitor and to give score according to the performance of the student, where the number of stations from (10) to (12) station.
