Technical College- Musayyib, Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University discussed a master dissertation on the effect of spraying seaweed extract and potassium sulfate on the growth and yield of three eggplant vegetable genotypes as a model the postgraduate student, Mr. Ahmed Muhammad Hamid Al-Taei.
The dissertation aimed at introducing foreign hybrid species and grow them in the same environmental conditions of the Middle Euphrates region.
The dissertation reviewed three concentrations of seaweed extract (ALGATON 20) and three concentrations of potassium sulfate at three times and spraying on shoots.
The dissertation confirmed on a clear and significant response to the study factors used in the research experiment and a significant compatibility between the Huizer hybrid plants and spraying for both solutions and the introduced genotypes showed a high ability to adapt and adapt to the yield and its components according to the agricultural conditions compared to the local variety that can be adopted in cultivation according to the conditions of the Middle Euphrates region.
The dissertation demonstrated triple interactions between Huizer hybrid plants and the higher concentration of both spray solutions had a significant superiority in all studied indicators, except for fruit diameter and fruit content of phosphorus
