College of Education for Human Sciences, University of Babylon organized a symposium on the concept of environmental pollution and the basis of its classification.
The symposium, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, reviewed that the environmental pollution is one of the most important issues in life of communities besides it is a common phenomenon in the countries of the world because it causes disruption, deterioration and negative changing in the components of the ecosystem.
The symposium also reviewed that the pollution is not only harm the environment but extends to harm the social, urban, intellectual and cultural environment.
