During a meeting with the Director of the Program for Action for Cancer Treatment (PACT) of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Ms. Lisa Stevens in Austrian capital, Vienna, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Science and Technology and the Head of the Iraqi Atomic Energy Commission, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi said that the two sides agreed on increasing training programs and opportunities for Iraqi medical and nursing staff working in cancer treatment centers and hospitals, as well as supporting Iraqi research centers with advanced equipment and devices and the possibility of accrediting specialized training centers in Iraq in cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency.

Dr. Al-Aboudi reviewed the scope of the achieved response to the sustainable development goals supervised by the United Nations, especially in light with partnership axis in the educational and health fields and addressing environmental problems.
