College of Medicine, University of Mustansiriyah discussed a master dissertation on evaluating of neutrophil cell traps in hemophilia A patients with arthropathy by the postgraduate student, Mrs. Russel Qasim Muhammad.

The dissertation reviewed the level of traps emerging from neutrophil cells in a sample of Iraqi patients with hereditary hemorrhage type (A), based on two different methods, namely the flow cytometry technique and the immunological method using the ELISA technique, as well as comparing the results of both methods with Clinical and laboratory indicators of patients.

The dissertation highlighted higher levels of neutrophil traps in Iraqi patients with hemophilia type A compared to healthy people.

The dissertation recommended the necessity of continuing to follow up larger numbers of people with hereditary hemorrhage type A, especially by the ELISA method, as it is a biochemical indicator of the development of arthritis in patients.
