During meeting the delegation from the US Embassy in Baghdad, acting His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Helo Al-Askari reviewed prospects for cooperation in academic education between universities in both countries.
Dr. Al-Askari emphasized the importance of joint academic programs that would enhance quality and accreditation in Iraqi universities.
His Excellency demonstrated that the achieved international academic reputation necessitates greater openness, cultural exchange, and the strengthening of scientific expertise to serve the development and improvement of higher education and scientific research in Iraq.
For her part, the Public Diplomacy Advisor at the US Embassy, Ms.Heidi Ramsay expressed her hope for strengthening opportunities for joint cooperation between universities and coordination in higher education between the two sides.
