University of Babylon organized its 3rd National Conference on Chemical, Biological, Nuclear and Radiation Security, President of the University, Dr. Adel Hadi Al-Baghdadi said. Dr. Al-Baghdadi added that the conference, in which a number of researchers and representatives of embassies of foreign countries participated, reviewed that the university is working according to a participial plan to bridge the academic relations with the State’s institutions to improve facing the chemical and biological hazards. Dr. Al-Baghdadi continued by saying that the conference also reviewed a number of researches on transparency as a basis of ethical dealing in chemistry and chemical security concepts, strengthening Iraqi national capacities to control dual-use of chemicals and preventing their use for terrorist purposes.
