Basra University for Oil and Gas reviewed with University of Houston developing joint academic exchanging between the two universities, President of the University, Dr. Abbas Hafidh Abass said.
Dr. Abass added that the university also reviewed the possibility of opening new horizons in the field of engineering of oil, gas, alternative energies and renewable energies in the American universities, institutes and research centers and facilitating the admission process of the Iraqi scholars.
Dr. Abass continued by saying that the university is keen on developing academic relations with different recognized universities, especially the American universities to promote the reality of the laboratories and adopted teaching methods.
Dr. Abass reviewed that the program of the university is focusing on benefiting from activating the educational aspect of oil and gas and investing the scientific and technological progress of the University of Houston.
