Department of Power Engineering and Electrical Machines in the College of Engineering, University of Diyala held a symposium on the effect of temperature on the efficiency of solar cells. The symposium reviewed the importance and role of alternative energy, which is the successful and widely used method such as solar energy cells, especially after increasing their efficiency with low costs. The symposium also reviewed the types and methods of cooling the solar cell such as pumping water through the cell and some methods used a reservoir and a closed circuit for the passage of water as well as using of fans that pump air in tubes behind the cells to cool them.
