During a meeting with the University of Kufa’s Council, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi announced the imminent laying of the foundation stone for the largest project in the field of scientific laboratories.

Dr. Al-Aboudi expressed the commitment of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to establish scientific laboratories that will take the lead in this field to enhance scientific research as one of the basic pillars of sustainable development linked to the development and progress of societies.

His Excellency reviewed the importance of working to make universities cultural and scientific centers of attraction and enhance their responsibilities towards society and institutional integration with state sectors, pointing at the same time to developing training contexts to raise professional capabilities and update teaching curricula.

Dr. Al-Aboudi highlighted the proposals of the members of the University of Kufa Council and the recommendations of the Council regarding enhancing the specializations required to serve the community and attract international students within the Study in Iraq program.
