College of Engineering, University of Diyala discussed a master dissertation on developing of the compressive refrigeration system with improvements in the performance factor the postgraduate student, Mrs. Mais Alaa Ismail. The dissertation conducted a study of improving the thermal performance and the overall performance of the vapor pressure refrigeration cycle by reducing the temperature and pressure of the condenser and using the land as a heat sink in the summer to cool spaces in residential and commercial buildings to stabilize the soil temperature. The dissertation demonstrated a reduction in energy consumption with a significant increase in the cooling capacity and performance factor, as the experimental results during the use of ground cooling showed that the temperature of the condenser decreased from 115 to 105 degrees Celsius.
