During a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan to Baghdad, Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim Hassan, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Nabeel Kadim Abid Al-Sahib reviewed developing aspects of understanding and academic cooperation between the two countries. Dr. Abid Al-Sahib urged to benefit from the joint work programs, take into account the scientific changes witnessed by the university environment in the region and the world, and arrange priorities related to specializations and study programs, especially those related to the exchange of students, scholarships, twinning between universities with specialized specifications, activate the visiting professor program, research fellowships for postgraduate students and joint supervision. For his part, Mr. Hassan praised the level of cooperation by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and its institutions and their keenness on developing academic relations in general in light of the indicators and limitations imposed by the requirements of academic partnership. It is worth mentioning that the meeting was attended by the Director General of Scholarships and Cultural Relations.
