During honoring the top students at Al-Nahrain University on the occasion of the graduation of the thirtieth group for the academic year 2022/2023, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr.  Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi stressed on that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research every year receives new groups of students and celebrates the graduation of its students who are qualified to work and serve the community and that it has spared no effort in developing the area of ​​interest for the graduates, enhancing the areas of support necessary for them and intensifying follow-up to ensure that they reach the place of ambition and the rise of leadership opportunities in their careers.

Dr. Al-Aboudi reviewed that the coincidence between the graduation of students in various specializations and the clarity of the indicator of achievements in institutions of higher education and scientific research in their first year bears a clear indication of the consistency of the achievements achieved within a scientific and objective vision that paved the way for academic excellence in the fields of university education.

His Excellency added that the positive results of Iraqi universities in international rankings, which placed Iraq ranked thirty-seventh in the world, impose on everyone an honorable national commitment to continue developing academic programs that have a responsible and direct impact on providing a distinguished educational environment.

Dr. Al-Aboudi called on Iraqi universities, their colleges, departments and staff to establish more community service spaces and achieve sustainable development goals that are based on the pillar of good education that puts educational institutions on the right path towards international accreditation.

His Excellency stressed on the commitment of the Ministry and its universities to excellence and continuous development.

Dr. Al-Aboudi concluded the graduation activities by honoring the top students at Al-Nahrain University, as well as appreciating the efforts of the scientific, academic and professional staff.

It is worth to be mentioned graduation ceremony included delivering a speech by the University President, Dr. Ali Al-Shawi, the representative of the graduating students, reciting of the university oath and certificate awarding ceremonies to graduates of the Colleges of Law, Medicine, Engineering, Science, Political Science, iIformation Engineering, Business Economics, Biotechnology and Pharmacy.
