Karbala University’s Master’s Dissertation: On Spatial Changes in Land Use

College of Education for Human Sciences, University of Karbala discussed a master dissertation on spatial changes in land use using remote sensing by the postgraduate student, Mrs. Zahraa Razzaq Radhi.

The dissertation aimed at surveying the types of land uses in the study area and reviewing their quantitative and qualitative characteristics via using applications of remote sensing techniques.

The dissertation demonstrated the effectiveness and ability of remote sensing in studying land use types.

The dissertation recommended the importance of relying on remote sensing techniques in geographical studies in various fields, especially estimates of land use types, as they give quick and accurate results.
