During the inauguration of the exhibition of scientific products of Iraqi universities in the fifty-sixth session of the Conference of the Association of Arab Universities held in the capital, Baghdad, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi and Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities, Amr Ezzat Salama reviewed the exhibition’s pavilions, which included scientific innovations and patents presented by Iraqi universities, as well as scientific publications, literature and innovative technical devices and equipment.

Dr. Al-Aboudi stressed on the importance of developing the research environment in Iraqi universities and strengthening it through cooperation with Arab universities to produce joint scientific research and invest it in meeting the requirements of the labor market, especially in medical and engineering specialties and artificial intelligence, to keep pace with the indicators of the scientific and technical aspect taking place in the world.

It is worth to be mentioned that the conference was attended by members of the Association of Arab Universities and university presidents.
