His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi inaugurated infrastructure projects at Thi-Qar University.

During a meeting with the Council of Thi-Qar University, Dr. Al-Aboudi reviewed that the decision to adopt the Bologna Process and course system in Iraqi universities is an important step to enhance the quality of education, modernize its curricula and meet the needs of the labor market and the skills it requires.

His Excellency added that the process of developing educational systems is linked to the current and future general changes required by community service and its relations with the various sectors of the state responsible for embodying development goals and plans that are based on projects aimed at improving the capabilities of graduates.

Dr. Al-Aboudi reviewed with Deans of Colleges to develop the educational environment, some of which included a proposal to create specialized centers, colleges and scientific departments that meet the renewable needs in Thi-Qar Governorate.
