College of Pharmacy, University of Al-Mustansiriyah discussed a master dissertation on the effect of Montelukast
treatment on lung fibrosis stimulated by Bleomycin treatment by the postgraduate student, Mr. Mohamed Rabah.
The discussed aimed at studying the potential role of Montelukast
in the prevention and treatment of pulmonary fibrosis.
The discussed concluded that the Montelukast treatment is used as a prevention of lung fibrosis, as well as the treatment of pulmonary fibrosis, which is by reducing the level of the protein secreting Club cell 16 and krebs von den lungen-6.
