College of Medicine, University of Al-Mustansiriyah organized a symposium on the therapeutic uses of plants.
The symposium, in which a number of postgraduates and faculty members participated, reviewed the effect of the medicinal plants in treating diseases such as diabetes and increased proportion of fat in the blood as well as reviewing some of these plants such as olive leaves, black seed, curry leaves, seeds of fenugreek and others.
