College of Education, University of Al-Mustansiriyah held a symposium on the challenges of water scarcity for sustainable development in Iraq and the role of citizens, science and technology in addressing them.
The symposium, in which a number of researchers and faculty members participated, reviewed promoting environmental awareness of water scarcity in Iraq, determining intensity, encouraging rationalize consumption and implementing modern technologies in the developed countries to treat water via recycling and using it in agriculture and protecting rivers from pollution.
