College of Information Engineering, Al-Nahrain University discussed a master dissertation on intelligent malware detection system based on deep learning techniques by the postgraduate student, Mrs. Zahra Zeidan Idi. The dissertation reviewed targeted malware detection and classification via using image processing and deep learning technology, these techniques were created and trained via using four strategies; fully trainable, fine-tuning and feature extraction, as well as a mixed deep learning strategy. The dissertation demonstrated that the experimental results reached the highest accuracy rate of the fully trainable strategy by 99.39% in the (Densnet 121) model and the results of using this model were excellent compared to the proposed models in terms of accuracy and training time.
