College of Biotechnology, Al-Qasim Green University discussed a Ph.D. thesis on Nano-scale marine algae extract in the enzymatic catalyst of fenugreek callus to produce medicinal compounds under salt stress conditions. The thesis  demonstrated the role of Nano seaweed extract in enhancing the antioxidant activity of induced callus from fenugreek seeds and its content of medically active compounds under saline stress conditions and a medical statement for induced callus ex vivo to produce medically effective compounds such as Trigonellin and Diosgenin. The thesis highlighted the importance of the medical uses of compounds in the treatment of many diseases, including diabetes, blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, lowering blood cholesterol and stomach ulcers. The thesis concluded that the salt stress led to an increase in the activity of antioxidants and the production and accumulation of a compound of callus (fenugreek plant).
