During the honoring ceremony that the award project by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for the second year in a row, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi honored the winners of the Higher Education Reading Award in its second edition for 2024.

Dr. Al-Aboudi stressed that the honoring ceremony opened the door wide for review and strengthening the contexts of general culture.

His Excellency highlighted that university students participated and contributed to understanding its scientific and cultural implications and integrated the requirements of cultural responsibility that embody the identity of society and its extensions in the past, present and future.

Dr. Al-Aboudi reiterated the importance of these programs and activities in undergraduate university studies and paving the way for their transition from the realm of competitions to the scientific research environment that achieves the usefulness of the university degree, which should address the challenges and dangers facing societies and leave a clear impact that shortens effort and time in terms of producing solutions and dismantling problems.

His Excellency said that the ceremony witnessed a speech by the organizing committee delivered by the Director General of the Research and Development Department, Dr. Lubna Khamis Mahdi, while the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, honored the winning students with one hundred million dinars and the organizing committee with thanks and appreciation in appreciation of their efforts in organizing the competition procedures.
