Diyala University: On Mobile Phones' Impacts

A master dissertation was discussed by the College of Education for Human Sciences, University of Diyala on spatial variation analysis of the health and economic impacts of the mobile phones in the City of Baquba.

The study included analyzing the spatial variation of the health and economic impacts of using mobile phones and addressing issues of electromagnetic pollution of the towers in the Iraqi environment especially the city of Baquba.

The study mentioned that the individuals are submitting to the attraction of money by the companies of mobiles in order to install the towers on the top of their houses despite the serious risks.

The study recommended installing the towers far away from the houses, hospitals and schools and to install them outside the cities.
