College of Engineering, University of Diyala organized a course on writing scientific researches and the culture of international publishing. The course, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, aimed at consolidating the culture of international publishing among faculty members, researchers and postgraduate students via clarifying the international indicators for the classification of journals as well as international publishing houses. The course reviewed three main axes, the first is on the most important scientific criteria of evaluating journals and the mechanism of selecting the appropriate journals and the second is on committing to ethics of scientific publishing, academic plagiarism and ways to avoid them and the third is on the model structure of international researches and how to write scientific researches.
