During the International Scientific Conference of the College of Medicine, University of Al-Nahrain, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Nabeel Kadim Abid Al-Sahib stressed the Ministry’s keenness on the importance of continuing scientific efforts and confronting changes via the scientific research and laboratory detection every occasion. Dr. Abid Al-Sahib praised the achievement of Iraqi researchers in the medical field, who have published more than thirteen thousand scientific researches in international websites. His Excellency reviewed that such qualitative conferences clearly shed the light on the achievement of Iraqi researchers and the attendance of their researches in international websites that documented more than thirteen thousand scientific research in the field of medicine despite the challenges of the pandemic. Dr. Abid Al-Sahib reiterated the emphasis on global partnerships and meeting the standards and criteria in writing the researches that ensure its alignment with quality tracks in order to achieve its goals set according to the methods adopted in universities and recognized research centers. It is worth mentioning that a number of specialized researchers inside and outside Iraq, too academics, union, governmental and parliamentary members were participated in the conference, as well as honoring the families of martyrs doctors from various Iraqi universities who performed their professional and humanitarian duty in facing the epidemic and answered the call of Allah were counted patiently with honored.
