During a meeting with the representative of the World Food Program in Iraq, Mr. Ali Redha Al-Quraishi, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Yasir Al-Aboudi expressed the Iraqi universities' readiness on cooperating and achieving common positive goals, Dr. Al-Aboudi highlighted that the specialized spaces of Iraqi university institutions make them qualified to provide non-typical solutions to address the problems of the public and private sectors. His Excellency stressed the Ministry’s support for coordination with The World Food Program in Iraq and creating an appropriate environment for the application of scientific concepts and proposals. Dr. Al-Aboudi called on the United Nations World Food Program to hold a joint workshop with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and its institutions to develop levels of cooperation in the fields of supporting graduates, formulating development programs and evaluating the labor market. For his part, Mr. Al-Quraishi appreciated the invitation of the Ministry to hold a joint workshop, proposing  signing a cooperative framework agreement with the Iraqi Higher Education and organizing the programs to be implemented with universities in the various Iraqi governorates. Mr. Al-Quraishi expressed the World Food Program admiration for the performance of Iraqi universities, especially with regard to their specialized centers for job development, as well as cooperating with public university institutions is characterized by a discreet decision and guarantees an executable procedural aspect.
