During the ceremony of launching projects in the University of Kufa, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Abdul Razzaq Abdul Jalel Al-Esa said that the Ministry is keen on reconstructing the infrastructure of the educational institutions in Iraq.

Dr. Al-Esa added that the Ministry worked over the past period on developing plans to complete and implement the suspended projects due to the emergency financial crisis which imposed a negative impact on all institutions of the State.

His Excellency reviewed that the Ministry embarked on plans and trends of the specific timelines to complete the urban projects of the Ministry and its university institutions in order to rebuild the infrastructure of the educational institution in Iraq.

Dr. Al-Esa continued by saying that the Ministry worked on maximizing the financial resources in higher education funds and spending them on projects that exceeded 80% of the consecution process.

His Excellency toured a number of under conduction projects of the University of Kufa and directed to speed up in completing them in order to provide an appropriate educational environment for students.
