During a meeting with the Patriarch of the Chaldeans in Iraq and the World, Mr. Louis Sako, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Qusay Al-Suhail reviewed promoting peaceful coexistence between all Iraqi people. Dr. Al-Suhail reviewed the role of Christians over the ages in building Iraq and preserving its national identity. His Excellency added that the Christians are the sons of Iraq and participated in the building of its civilization as well as their role in building the new Iraq despite the attempts to force them to get rid of their national identity. Dr. Al-Suhail also reviewed the need of the concerted efforts to consolidate security and strengthen peaceful coexistence between all Iraqi people. For his part, Mr. Sako highlighted the importance of the role of Higher Education through its university formations in strengthening the national cohesion among all Iraqi people, especially through the national initiatives and conferences.
