During his tour, accompanied by the President of the University of Kufa, Dr. Alaa Naji Al-Mawla, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi stressed the Ministry's commitment to strengthen the presence of the Arabic language and consolidate its academic standing.

Dr. Al-Aboudi said that the unique five-year program at the College of Excellence in Arabic Language and Literature, culminating in both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree, is a positive indicator that will attract outstanding students and give the academic programs added competitive value.

His Excellency added that the establishment of the College of Excellence in Arabic Language and Literature aligns with the Ministry's vision to develop high-quality study aspects and provide an advanced academic environment that contributes to develop students' skills and supporting specialized scientific research.

Dr. Al-Aboudi affirmed that the Arabic language is a fundamental pillar in strengthening the cultural and intellectual identity of society.

His Excellency toured the classrooms and educational environment facilities, as well as reviewing with students and faculty members, listened to their feedback on the study environment and the needs of the educational process, and reiterated that the Ministry is committed to implement its plans aimed at developing humanities programs, particularly those that meet the needs of society and contribute to prepare scientific competencies capable of enhancing the diversity of academic paths in Iraqi universities.
