Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced that the Times Higher Education released the results of its 2026 Arab University Rankings, which included 268 institutions from 18 countries.

reviewed that Iraq Obtains the largest representation in the rankings, with 57
Iraqi universities achieving positive results in this edition, which has seen
significant competition among Iraqi universities within the Arab region.
It is
significant to mention that this year, the Times Higher Education methodology
for evaluating Arab universities is based on the same indicators used in the
global university rankings: Teaching by (29.5%), Research Environment by (29%),
Research Quality by (30%), International Outlook by (7.5%) and Industry by (4%).
