Department of Environment and Water, merged Ministry of Science and Technology conducted a study on waters of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers in terms of environmental isotopes.
The study reviewed the isotopic and chemical relations of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, effects of water scarcity, high level of water storage in dams, excessive consumption of agricultural applications, seasonal effects, especially during summer and water resources of the two rivers.
