During a meeting with the delegation of the University of Florence, University of Baghdad signed a memorandum of understanding on promoting academic cooperation. The memorandum reviewed enhancing cooperation, developing of academic activities and events in light of law of the University of Florence, establishing a scientific exchange program in the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences in the University of Florence corresponding its counterparts of the departments of the scholarships and cultural relations, Italian language and Arabic language of the University of Baghdad and exchanging visits between faculty members. The memorandum highlighted holding conferences, symposiums, workshops, implementing joint scientific research and publishing in scientific journals. It is worth mentioning that the memorandum of understanding will be validate for five years and renewable after the agreement of the two parties.
