During a participation in a training course on the support of medical physicists to respond to radiation emergencies held in South Korea, a number of researchers from the Directorate of Radiation and Nuclear Safety, merged Ministry of Science and Technology reviewed aimed at preparing medical physics specialists to respond to radiological emergencies and to identify the international safety standards used in radiation measurements and devices and how to monitor and decontaminate and ways to protect workers in this field. The course highlighted conducting comprehensive practical practices for radiation accidents and providing all supplies and equipment for measuring pollution detection equipment and protective equipment for workers. It is worth mentioning that the course was organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
