College of Education for Women, University of Kufa discussed a master dissertation on modeling of a carbon dioxide laser pulse by the postgradute student, Mrs. Ruqaya Haider Rashad. The dissertation aimed at studying the equations of the time rate of transitions between gases carbon dioxide, nitrogen and helium, demonstrating the control of laser power through numerical time rate equations to obtain a homogeneous laser pulse and reviewing the effect of some parameters on the output laser power. The dissertation confirmed that the percentage of carbon dioxide was higher than that of nitrogen and helium and that the resulting laser pulse had a peak, great power and little stability.
