During a meeting with the delegation of the University of Lyon French and Vice-President of the Region of Overne, Mr. Étienne Blanc, University of Nineveh reviewed academic cooperation on reconstructing of the university, President of the University, Dr. Mizahim Al-Khayat said. Dr. Al-Khayat applauded the great efforts of the French institutions in reconstructing of the institutions of the university such as classrooms and laboratories in two and a half years after the destruction. Dr. Al-Khayat added that the university is keen on inking memorandums of understanding and joint working agreements with French universities to benefit from their experience in the reconstruction process of its infrastructure which were destroyed by the terrorists of Da'aish. For their part, the delegation reviewed the enormous destruction against the university, other universities in Mosul and other institutions. The delegation expressed the keenness on cooperating via signing of the protocol of cooperation and the selection of real projects that benefit the university and community in the province of Nineveh.
