College of Education, University of Tikrit held a symposium on the role of universities in supporting people with special needs. The symposium, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, reviewed three axes, the first was on the university’s role in supporting people with special needs, the second was on community supporting the people with special needs and the social efforts that should be harnessed in serving them and the third was on the models of creativity for people with special needs. The symposium recommended providing needs for people with special needs, developing services related to their education and integrating them into society.
