During a participation in Basra Conference of the giant projects of oil, gas and environment in Istanbul, Directorate of Environment and Water, merged Ministry of Science and Technology reviewed the nature of water, oil and gas projects in Basra and addressing the environmental issues for such projects and to focus on the role of science and technology in the field of water resources management and water treatment. The conference included delivering a lecture on the mechanism of reusing water for agricultural implementations and modern water treatment technologies for residential complexes, hospitals and hotels to reduce the amount of absolute pollution in surface water resources that result in many diseases, as well as addressing deterioration of the environmental reality of Shatt Al-Arab water.
