During the celebration held to honor the winners of the Higher Education Reading Award, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi confirmed that the award in which more than forty-two thousand students were registered, contributed to stimulating the cultural awareness responsible for promoting trends in productive and creative thinking at the individual and societal levels today and in the future.







Dr. Al-Aboudi honored the winning students of the Higher Education Reading Award.







His Excellency added that the competition's message was achieved through a distinguished group of preliminary studies students at public and private universities.







Dr. Al-Aboudi reviewed that its impact will be clear in enhancing awareness and protecting society from the effects of superficiality targeting our children through the consumption of content with negative content.







His Excellency stressed on the importance of cultural stimulation and involving students in reviewing cultural texts and analyzing their contents in order to employ them in facing challenges and creating solutions to contemporary problems.

His Excellency concluded the ceremony with honoring the students who won the Higher Education Reading Award, which amounted to one hundred million, five million for each winner.







Dr. Al-Aboudi expressed his congratulations and appreciation to all the winners, participants, the supportive universities and colleges, members of the organizing and technical committees who delivered an worthy effort of praise and appreciation.





For his part, Ministry’s Advisor and the Head of the organizing committee, Dr. Allaa Abd Al-Hassan Attia reviewed the stages of preparing and organizing the award and the mechanisms for conducting the lottery among the 100 participated students who achieved the highest scores in the test that took place on the fifteenth of last September.
It is worth to be mentioned that a large crowd of public and private university faculty members and students were participated.
